It doesn't matter what it is, if it makes you happy, do it. I know “Murder She Wrote” is just fiction, but there are a lot of lessons to be learnt in all aspects of life, fiction and non-fiction alike. Here we have Jessica Fletcher, a high school English teacher from Cabot Cove, Maine, who writes a book shortly after her husband dies. She didn't do it for the fame or the fortune, she did it as a way to pass time. After her nephew, Grady, sends her manuscript to a publishing house, her book gets published and becomes a huge success. That leads to her fame and mostly likely fortune, although we never learn exactly how much money she has made through her books, but judging from the fact that she traveled quite a bit and stayed at very beautiful and expensive hotels and not to mention that her attire went from a spinster school-marm to a fashionista (80's style), she has probably made at least a few bucks.
So let me ask you now, "What do you do that makes you happy? Do you have a hobby that you enjoy doing? Or maybe you even have a talent for something. Again, it doesn't matter what it is. If you get a sense of joy, happiness and love from what you do, you can turn your hobby or talent into a career and the fame and the fortune will come. Now, I am not saying quit your day job just yet, but if you sincerely have a desire to turn your hobby or talent into a career start, taking the steps you need to take, in order to do the things that allow you to radiate joy, happiness and love. A few things I want to mention though are:
1. Never give up on what you want, no matter what is going on around you, even if all the doors of opportunity are being shut in your face. Keep moving forward. If you stay focused on your dreams and desires and continue to radiate joy, happiness and love, a door will open and the fame and fortune of all kinds (if you so wish it). will flood into your life. Again, you have to do those things that make you happy first so that you can radiate joy, happiness and love.
2. Do not worry about When or How it will happen. When you begin to do this, fear and doubt take over and you lose your sense of joy, happiness and love; because like attracts like, more thoughts of fear and doubt will become dominant in your mind. When you stopping worry about the When’s and the How’s and you focus on everything you truly want in life, as though you already have it, you learn to live in the moment.
When you live in the moment, you do not worry about the past or the future; your focus is on the now and what you have in the now, not what you had in the past or what you want in the future. The funny thing is that when you do this, everything you truly want in life comes into your life much faster, because you’re not focusing on the lack of it and you don't have thoughts of fear or doubt, which are huge road blocks to your dreams and desires. When you live in the moment you radiate joy, happiness and love.
When you do the things that make you happy and you radiate joy, happiness and love, ideas and thoughts are going to start coming to you. These thoughts and ideas are going to help you move forward towards your dreams and desires, so when an idea pops into your mind, do it.
3. I've already said it once, but I want to say it again, “Do Not Give Up!” If you are doing those things that make you happy and that gives you a sense of joy, happiness and love you will succeed, but you cannot give up. There might be things in your life that you need to tweek in order to move forward and if there are Please do it. I know that I have had to; my website, for example. Although I have had the domain for 6 years now I have only just started working on it for the last 4. The way it looked when I first started is completely different from the way it looks now. Over the years, I've added and deleted content, I've rearranged the layout of the pages, and heck, only just a few months ago, I had to recreate my whole website again from scratch. Whereas most people will see this as a defeat, I saw it as a new beginning, a chance to start over.
Yes, it took me a couple of months to recreate every page on my website, but I saw it as a positive thing; it gave me a chance to fix the things I didn't like about my website and through the law of attraction, I was able to solve a few problems I saw within my website, as well. I do not care if I have to recreate my whole website again every few years, if it improves on what I had before I am going to keep moving forward because I love my website and I love what I do.When I work on my website it truly gives me a sense of joy, happiness and love. It might take me 5-10 more years to make it a success but that is OK. I do not care; I am not going to give up and neither should you.
Remember you can BE, DO or HAVE anything you truly want in life, if you continue to do those things that allow you to radiate a sense of joy, happiness and love out to the universe and you believe that everything you truly want in life is already yours, they soon will be and Always Remember, the Sunshine Dwells in You.
